Armstrong Siddeley was a British engineering company that existed in the first part of the twentieth century. It was founded in 1919 and is well known for producing luxury automobiles and aircraft engines. The firm was formed as a result of Armstrong Whitworth's acquisition of Siddeley-Deasy, a manufacturer of fine motor vehicles targeted to the upper crust of society. Following the merger of enterprises, the emphasis on quality was maintained in the manufacturing of aircraft engines, gearboxes for armoured vehicles, rocket and torpedo motors, and railcar development. Company acquisitions and mergers with Hawker Aviation and Bristol Aero Engines let the company continue automobile manufacture, which had ended in August 1960.

The company was absorbed by the Rolls-Royce conglomerate, which was involved in the aviation and aircraft engine industries. The remaining spares and all motor car interests were eventually sold to the Armstrong Siddeley Owners Club Ltd, which now controls the patents, designs, copyrights, and trademarks, as well as the name Armstrong Siddeley.
